Kitchen clutter can be embarrassing and discomforting. It cannot be denied that those people who spend some of their time in the kitchen, especially cooks, hate the aftermath of preparing meals. However, by taking time to clean and organise things, the kitchen can be clutter-free. Here are some things that you can do to keep your kitchen tidy while you are cooking.
Make it a point to plot your meals. Plan your meals for the week or several days ahead so that you will determine the items you will need for cooking such as saucepans and barbecue cook wares. It is also important to know what you want to cook in order to cut down on the use of particular kitchen utensils. Next, take your time while cooking. If you cause the spaghetti sauce to spill out on the stove, pick it up right away to avoid it drying on your appliance. Before serving your dinner, be sure to wash off any spatulas and spoons that you use while cooking. Do not store your food in the pot for the next meal. It would be better if you put them in large sized plastic bowls for the next breakfast, lunch or dinner. It would also be best to wash the pot after you use it.
Make sure to transfer all the food to a serving plate when using large frying pans. By washing all the large utensils and implements in the kitchen, you can clean up your counters and allow them to be free from the presence of large cookware. Lastly, clean the stove and counters, and dry all the items you have washed before you serve the food.
